Job Description:

Taco Slingers are responsible for prepping and preparing amazing food according to our menu. A great team member will be able to follow instructions and take initiative to continually provide great tasting and enjoyable meals. They must be efficient in a kitchen and have the ability to work quickly. They will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of all surfaces, equipment, dishes, tableware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual cleaning methods. In order to help ensure all aspects of this position are performed as expected, training and regularly scheduled performance reviews will be conducted. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Cook food in various ovens
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Monitor stock and make notes for re-ordering
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning, set-up, and breakdown tasks as assigned
Be fully knowledgeable of and adhere to sanitation, safety, and health department policies
Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
Be knowledgeable of and comply with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances
Clean all kitchen surfaces, equipment, dishes, tableware, pots, pans, utensils, and bathrooms
Perform other duties as requested by management
Maintain exceptional customer service at all times
Stands and/or traverses taproom/kitchen for long periods of time
Use repetitive motions
Lifts up to 50 pounds without assistance

Qualifications

Experience in service industry
Excellent customer service skills
Proven experience as cook
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (braising, baking, boiling etc.)
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm demeanor
Ability to work a flexible schedule, working overtime as needed

Beertender

Job Description:

Our beertenders are responsible for providing a positive, warm and welcoming environment for our guests. In addition, they educate our guests about our beer and food. The beertender is in charge of greeting customers, taking orders and serving patrons of legal drinking age and asking for identification as required. They will provide information to help with beverage selections ensuring that guests are satisfied with their Native Brew Works experience. The ideal candidate will be able to provide top-quality customer service while maintaining taproom ambiance and transaction accuracy. In order to help ensure all aspects of this position are performed as expected, training and regularly scheduled performance reviews will be conducted. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome customers as they arrive
Work quickly to ensure customers are served in a timely manner
Check identification of patrons and monitor for underage drinking
Help guests select beverages by presenting menu and making informed suggestions
Pour and serve beer
Ensure all items are entered into the POS system and complete sales transactions
Ensure an exceptional customer experience and, whenever necessary, resolve concerns using good judgment, professionalism and courtesy
Ensure responsible serving practices
Be fully knowledgeable of and adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Monitor guests intoxication levels and refrain from serving alcohol when appropriate
Keep customer tabs precise and up to date
Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
Be knowledgeable of and comply with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances
Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of glassware, bar and table tops, chairs, menus, bathrooms, and entire taproom
Change kegs as needed
Complete opening and closing duties
Stands and/or traverses taproom for long periods of time
Use repetitive motions
Lifts up to 50 pounds without assistance
Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:
